www.livingOUTthere.com would like to invite our members to participate in World AIDS Day with us on December 1, 2007.

World AIDS Day is an important reminder that HIV has not gone away and that there are many things still to be done.

To help raise awareness and to help stop the spread of HIV/AIDS, we encourage you to:

• Protect yourself and your partners – this is the first and best way to
stop the spread of HIV.
• Know your status and your partners. Never assume.
• If you are worried or not sure of your status – get tested – regularly.
• Raise awareness of HIV and AIDS in your area.
• Wear a red ribbon and ask others to do the same.
• Donate and/or volunteer at your local community based HIV/AIDS organization.

If you choose to help out by donating cold, hard cash, we suggest the
following organizations:

Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research www.canfar.com
AIDS Committee of Toronto www.actoronto.org
Fife House www.fifehouse.org
Casey House www.caseyhouse.com
Toronto PWA http://www.pwatoronto.org
